Coastal and Marine Civil Engineering - Master

NTNU offers a two-year, international Master's programme Coastal and Marine Civil Engineering - Master. Each of the courses gives 7.5 ECTS credits and is adapted to the study programme Civil and Environmental Engineering. You may choose single courses from the programme, but you may also apply for admission to the entire Master's programme.

If you choose to follow the full programme, Coastal and Marine Civil Engineering - Master, the application deadline is 15 April for applicants with a Norwegian/Nordic higher education. The final application deadline for Quota-programme applicants is 1 February. For students with individual funding the application deadline is 1 February. On completion of your degree, you will be awarded the title Master of Science.

Coastal and Marine Civil Engineering - Master emphasizes the following areas of activity:

• Description of the marine physical environment (wind, waves, current and ice)
• Effects of load from the marine environment and load effects on the coast and coastal structures
• The development of coastal and harbour infrastructure
• Arctic marine civil engineering
